Roger Grimshaw – Clay Shooting Coach

My name is Roger Grimshaw and I am a Shotgun Instructor. I specialise in helping beginners and existing shooters become better shots.

Whether it’s your first time with a shotgun or you’ve been shooting a while, I will start you off hitting clays; help you improve; help you iron out bad habits and set you up to self diagnose, allowing you to grow and become more proficient in your shooting. I have been training people in industry and education for more than 20 years so I use learning techniques that have worked for a long time whilst not forgetting that new technology can help us all.

Being a member of APSI, The Association of Professional Shooting Instructors, I am going make sure that you, as a new shooter, are welcome on any shooting ground because you are safe, know what you are doing and of course, can hit clays, using many methods and styles.

I am still ambitious in my own shooting career; I have shot for Staffordshire and still want to shoot for England but I now get as much pleasure seeing new shooters hit their first clay, then the next and the next; or seeing an existing shooter, who is struggling with a particular target or style to “crack the code” and add the “know how” to their knowledge.
